Erum Ayub Rabbani
Erum has more than 15 years of diversified work experience in international education and development program design and management. From 2015 to 2020, Erum has led on a complex, large-scale, multi-million dollar Australia Awards, the Australian Government’s scholarship, short course, and alumni engagement program in Pakistan.
Before Australia Awards: Erum has worked with the British Council to design and manage development and research partnerships between the UK and Pakistani higher education institutions funded by the Department for International Development UK and Government of Pakistan; provided technical assistance and advice to the Government of Pakistan while working with USAID, to strengthen the financial aid and fund-raising capacity of the Higher Education Commission and institutions of higher education; managed the UK and Australian government-funded scholarships; published research on the state of higher education in Pakistan; taught in university and primary school; established a resource centre for peace and conflict resolution in Azad Jammu & Kashmir; conducted a scoping study on climate change perception and reality in Pakistan and carried out research on Scope of Transnational Education in Pakistan.Erum is experienced in managing and mentoring teams, versatile with strong skills in strategic planning, multi-stakeholder engagements, program design and management, advocacy and programming for education, inclusive development and women empowerment and working in multi-country projects with a passion for young girls education and reducing environmental impact.
